I was born and raised in Montreal (Quebec) and have always had a passion for life, adventure and the outdoors. My first language is french.

I am PhD student at the University of Minnesota. I focus my research on outdoor education instructors, difficulties of the profession and mental illness affecting outdoor educators. My recent research has focused on wilderness therapy instructors and I hope to continue in that direction for a while.

I gained my love of the outdors and passion for teaching through my parents, lots of summer camping and these wonderful professional experiences: Girl Scouts (Colorado summer camp), America's Adventure Venture Europe(Youth travel company), Second Nature Wilderness Programs (wilderness therapy), Outward Bound (Lead instructor), Odyssey (Team building), Adventure Outings (College program) and many more places!
